100 weeks, 100 blogs :- The Journey of Impulsum Blogs.
This blog marks the century of total blogs published in Impulsum. We had started this journey, jokingly, as it were, quite unexpectedly, on 6th May, 2020. Today is 22nd March, 2022.
When you count, you will find that exactly 100 weeks have passed, 700 days have passed, and here we publish our 100th week blog - continued, unbroken Tapasya!
Therefore, the very topic of our today's blog is Impulsum. The purpose of this blog is to give you clarity, about what Impulsum stands for, and what exactly should you expect from it. Moreover, I write this blog also, to redefine my own purpose of writing articles over articles, week over week!
1. First and foremost, WHY Impulsum??
There are many many forces which push me to write.
The major force that had kickstarted all this was my habit of reading. And mind you, not just fairy taley reading, but reading shedloads of thought provoking books.
It had a very wide range actually, including spirituality to social change, philosophy to politics, policies on education, nation-building of Vivekananda and what not. What followed next was a fountain of ideas. I could not help but always think, think, think. What sprang forth as a result of all this was kind of a bizzare fusion of all which I just mentioned - Philosophy, Education System, Youth Awakening, Universal Harmony, Spiritual Humanism etc.
Even right now, if you scroll down the site, you'll see a broad range of subjects which I have dealt in the past 100 weeks.
Now, again, why exactly do I write blogs?
Funnily, I use this website as, kind of, my business card. That is to say, it helps me quickly show the other person what exactly I love to think about and am passionate about.
By publishing blogs, I not only help my fellow friends and family learn new things, but also immortalise my thought process on various subjects. Just think, if I compile all these blogs, it can make up for an entire book!
I love to write. As my ideals include inspiring and uplifting people, I must not idle way my time. Also as a person who dreams to be the representative of public voice, torch-bearer of national progress, I must not cease to learn new things and express my own ideas.
To be honest, whenever a tuesday approaches, it annoys the hell out of me. Always, at the back of my head, it forces me to think of something to present as a topic. Countless times have I decided a blog topic, and then camcelled, and replanned and again cancelled.
When I start to write, I decide no flow, no direction. Just as I sit to write, I write as if texting one of my friends, literally talking. You cannot tell the difference whether I am writing a blog or texting mt friend by looking at me. It is what it is!
What's the future?
What? Will I stop writing? What a joke.
There is certainly no going backward now. The only future is expansion. The only march is but to go onwards and onwards.
But yes, it is difficult to say what shape will this site take in the future. Once I can devote some more time to this, I will try to bring to it larger audience. I will also try to innovate in my writing. Innovation knows no limits, who knows perhaps Impulsum might expand to a much, much bigger thing than a mere blog site? His will be done.
As for now, I can surely say Impulsum will keep publishing blogs that can potentially electrify the backbones of the readers, that can provoke the narrow perspective of both readers and myself.
"Onward! Upon ages of struggle a character is built. Be not discouraged. One word of truth can never be lost; for ages it may be hidden under rubbish, but it will show itself sooner or later. Truth is indestructible, virtue is indestructible, purity is indestructible. Give me a genuine man; I do not want masses of converts. My son, hold fast! Do not care for anybody to help you. Is not the Lord infinitely greater than all human help? Be holy-trust in the Lord, depend on Him always, and you are on the right track; nothing can prevail against you."
-Swami Vivekananda
