How Your Food Habits Can Make You Live Longer

Hello everyone! We all have goals to achieve,  a purpose to serve and a desire to live dreams.  To do so,  you have to be as productive and smartworking.  But what if we just increase the time limit! More Lifetime,  More enhancements and also a disease free and quality life.  Therefore,  in this blog,  we will talk about food that you eat can make you live a quality life!

"You are what we eat". 
From your childhood to this stage,  you are ever growing and ever changing.  Reason?  The food you eat.  How?  Whatever flesh that adds up to you is simply the food you eat converted into muscles and energy.  Believe me, the food you eat affects your body (obviously), mind and attitude towards your routine work. 

Take an example of a Simple Vegetarian family in South India.  Most of the time, they only eat 'idli-sambar' or 'dosa-sambar'.  This is just rice food.  Shouldn't you go for nuts,  sprouts,  fruits,  vegetables and other grains except rice? Today in India,  less than 20 percent of people aren't eating food the right way! Their diet is always biased on taste basis rather than nutrition basis.  Moreover,  we Indians tend to follow the same routine of food.  
You must have studied about the 'crop rotation' concept in Agricultural Science.  What farmers do to their fields is that in one season they grow groundnuts and in other season they grow paddy.  One season brinjal then another season carrots! Why?  Those damn fields too need diversed nutrition to grow good quality crops! The same way,  our body too needs varied food nutrition to grab maximum enhancements.  

Just try this once, 
Have a diet of 20 percent fruits, 
                         20 percent veggies, 
                         20 percent liquids, 
                         40 percent grains. 
You will notice that at the very first try,  you will find yourself more comfortable,  more energetic and more lively!
One should always include a bit amount of uncooked raw food with their daily meals. 

Also,  another important thing is your meal time.  

Our body tends to follow routines. When you eat an ice cream,  the next day you'll have a bigger desire to eat once more.  When you completely boycott eating ice creaming and even not dare to think about it,  you'll automatically leave your desire to eat the ice cream.  

The same way,  our stomach too acts.  When we digest food,  our stomach releases Hydrochloric Acid and other enzymes to grasp the food energy. If one day you sleep late,  you will tend to sleep late the other night too.  When you wake up early,  the other day too you'll wake up early.  This is how mind works,  it follows your routine,  thinking that that's what is good for the body.  

Thus,  our mind has a memory that at a specific time of noon,  you'll take your lunch,  so it orders the stomach to release digestive fluids at that time. 
So,  the conclusion,  is that you must have a meal routine with fixed times and fixed meals.  That will help your system completely absorb the food energy.  

Let me tell you another thing,  
The more complex food you eat,  the harder it gets for the stomach to digest it,  the harder it is to digest,  the more energy you'll need! So,  do the math,  and know that how important proper diet at proper time is. 

Fasting too is very important for your body. Your stomach too needs rest! Thus,  you can fast a day per month or so.
